Abdulkadir Hassan

Abdulkadir has about two decades of experience in renewable energy, waste management, mining & development, development finance and investment, green economy and logistics within a wide range of sectors. He regularly speaks at both local and international programmes and related events across Africa and beyond. He has consulted for many organisations in both public and private sectors, including bilateral programmes and projects. He previously worked in the financial service sector where he held different positions including Funds/Portfolio Manager, Operations Manager and Branch Manager, in HNB Trustees, Cornerstone Trustees, Oceanic and First Inland Banks.
He attended Barewa College Zaria, Nigeria, holds MBA and B.Sc Degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, speaks English fluently and has basic knowledge of Arabic and French languages. He received several professional and academic trainings both within and outside Nigeria.
Abdulkadir has authored and presented over 50 papers in different fora within Africa and beyond. He had the privilege of chairing the maiden edition of Africa, Mining Investment and Development Summit held in Accra, Ghana July 2013, serves as a member of Technical and Implementation Committees of Bilateral Synergy between Republic of Rwanda and Kebbi State as well as co-ordinating consultant for the Synergy. Abdulkadir is also a member of Board of Trustees of Africa Paulawnia, Silviculture and Conservation (APSec Institute) Ghana.
